According to police officials, SHO Airport Police Station Saqib Riaz conducted a raid on a tip-off and apprehended the accused, identified as Imran. During the operation, a significant quantity of fireworks material was recovered from his possession, including 10 bundles of match firecrackers.
Police have registered a case against the accused and initiated further legal proceedings. Authorities are also working to identify and arrest other individuals linked to this illegal network.
CPO Faisalabad, Sahibzada Bilal Umar, stated that strict action against illegal fireworks activities will continue without discrimination. He urged citizens to report any suspicious activity or illegal storage of fireworks to help ensure public safety.
